Owl always love yoooooooo!

Afternoon peeps!

Well, the title of my blog post might just be giving some heavy hints as to what is special about this week.
As I mentioned it yesterday, there's no need to mention it again.
Oh, go on then............it's fix the fence week!!!!! Yaaaaaayyyy!
Only jesting; we all know St.Valentines' day is on Friday but does everyone know who St Valentine was?

Ok, education over so now for the interesting stuff!

Here's one I made earlier!!!! Actually didn't start this til lunchtime as I didn't have my crafty-mojo on this morning, Wonders will never cease eh?
I've been severely distracted by the Winter Olympics which I love - well, it's sport isn't it so, if it moves, I will watch it - however I am now an expert in the art of curling and it's the least energetic of the games so far so if I had to try one then that would be it!

Onto the card! I chose the Valentine/Love theme for these cute little owls who I purchase from digital site Pink Gem Designs and I adore them!
I was sorely tempted to give them names but talked myself out of it............for now!
I used Pearlised Ivory card from Crafters Companion for the card base which I layered with embossed Kraft card. Some of the embossed pattern I picked out with my Versamark pen and used gold embossing powder to give them a little shine.
I used Spectrum Noir markers to colour in the cheeky owls and used my stash to decorate the rest of the card,
All in all, a cute little card methinks!!!
